The year was around 1999.

Alaska hiking, Upstate NY and Canada for some first decents on some good rivers.

Probably around 90k on the car just traveling looking for the next adventure.

Other than that, taking my girlfriend at the time (now wife) with me and my dad for two weeks out hiking in Utah checking out a lot of canyons.

Had a very nice hotel with heated pull and hot tub
Had a balcony that overlooked the beautiful city lights and street signs
Virtually unlimited money to spend on food drinks and gift shop stuff clothes and etc..
No stress which was rare

I enjoyed my vacation with close friends to Japan a few years ago. Japan is a nice place to visit. The people there are helpful and friendly. There are many scenic places. Japanese foods are delicious.

It was the day I visited the Maasai mara national park with my family in my country doing some domestic touring

I am a Hindu and as a Hindu my favorite holiday is Dushera which falls in October.
