Being allergic to the Sun?

Can one seriously be allergic to the sun? Someone on my Facebook said her daughter was "Photo sensative" which she described as being allergic to the sun... Sounds unreal.... Or shes describing it wrong. The sun is life...

Back to the original topic. Yes I have heard of this, the dermatologist actually thought I may be somewhat because I have a rash that develops if Im out in the sun to long and its not heat rash, its something totally different

Audra is right.

My grammie used to get little red bumps all over her arms and neck when she would go into the sun.. and sunscreen didn't help and it wasn't heat rash either.
