It's been great.
Went to dinner with some friends, had some bitch time, like we always do.. about work and the state of the world in general.

In part due to lousy weather, all I did this weekend is post comments on a number of different forums and watch NFL playoff games. But even though my weekend wasn't eventful, the important thing is that I enjoyed myself.

Watched some more snow melt and some more football. Did move my backhoe close to the barn as I have a rear tire that started leaking.

Saturday, blew snow, as we had a snowfall, coupled with some strong winds on Friday afternoon/evening/night. Sunday, finished blowing snow, serviced out my pickup, oil change, grease steering linkages and U-Joints, checked front and rear differentials and transfer case. Afternoon coffee/lunch with my parents and wife. Supper out, with the wife. Today, at work, pushed snow from several lift stations, checked the ones we always visit on Monday mornings, fired up my tractor and pushed some snow around the yard, hooked up my drag and drug the snow down across the road by the RR tracks where I park my trailers. I'm warming my toes up now. Cold steel floor plate and pedals on my tractor, ya know.

Loaded the boiler with the wood we cut last week. The Amish guy cut them dang long for this old guy to lift. It was a lot easier flipping them in the skid steer bucket than lifting them up and into the boiler. they sure do last a long time when they are whole like that.
