Avy/Sig making software?

So, what program does anyone use for like avy and sig making? I didn't which ones were free (ones that you could download) or which weren't and just wanted to see what ones you guys used. Thanks.

I tried Signature Maker

But I ended up just using Paint Shop Pro for mine

I just imported a picture into photoshop elements and then added a layer with my name. BTW, I only used photoshop elements because it came with my computer - I really hate the program.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS2, I wonder how the CS3 is like.

I've tried CS4 but it used to freeze on me and its hard to find a crack.

Which is the easiest to use? I haven't really made any thing before, so I just am sorta new at it. Just thought I'd see which is better for me to start off with.

I hardly knew anything about Photoshop but learned through many tutorials over the internet, I find photoshop bringing out the best quality in graphics than other software, at least from what I used, don't expect to be a pro, it takes time.

Photoshop is probably the best.
