Just a quick post to find out who is from Down Under?! and where abouts?!

Lets have an Aussie topic... you know talk about the clubs, concerts, food, music, movies ... etc anything really.... If its Aussie.. put it here...

i'm from the U.S., but my fiance goes down under quite often :hump

but on a serious note, how do Aussie clubs compare to American clubs, what types of music is popular, what types of drinks?

Well ive neva been to an American club so i guess i cant compare... but we have all types of clubs -
dance clubs - hard nrg & commercial
metal clubs - Alternative, goth, punk...
Rnb clubs - cant tell you anything about these.. not a fan myself...
then there are Pubs. Pubs that have live bands or pubs with djs.

And for drinks.. im guessing pretty much the same kinda stuff, spirits, beer, pre mixed stuff, cocktails, shots....

Actually we have Lone Star (which is like texan) and Hogs breath (which im not sure could actualli be aussie) and ummm i cant think of ne others @ 4am...

i might be going to austrailia after graduation

Lonestars are good i have to admit but here actually in texas we prefer spring creek bbq and lonestars arnt very common in texas, just everywhere else

I been to Oz a few times. Sydney, Bells beach area north of there. Been to Free Mantel, Perth Three times. Really liked both Places. I think Western Australia is more laid back though. Surfed some spots in West OZ too.
I met a girl from Perth while I was in Thailand. I was never able to track her down while I visited Perth. To bad she was a real Cutie.
Great times in Sydney too. Christ cross? Church street area, I forgot. Some great clubs and friendly atmosphere.

I live in Sydney, and have only ever been to Queensland and Victoria.. no other states... Im not that interested in Perth (WA) though.. i hear its nice.. but dont wanna go there.. lol
Whats Christ cross??? are you talking about Kings Cross??

Australia is great, we Aussies are pretty cool.. lol.. (Dont mean to toot my own horn or anything :D )
I'd luv to go to England and also the US.. Possibly going to England for a working holiday next year.. See what happens...
