We've been having some aurora activity here the last couple of days. Apparently it was spectacular last night but I missed it. They weren't the greatest tonight but I got a few pictures to share.



It's really dim in this one


I think this is the coolest shot.



Maybe tomorrow night they'll be a bit more active again and I can get some better pictures.

:nod: They are. I love watching them. I've got a friend who takes the most amazing aurora pictures. I've never had a camera handy for the really spectacular displays but one of these days...

No, not way up north. I live in Saskatoon. It feels way up north in winter sometimes.

Cool, you still get a pretty good view of the lights there

I never got the chance whilst I was over there to do the northern lights tour into the Yukon Territory... one day I hope to give that a go, looks amazing!

These stubborn mares are not foaling so I've been bored silly all night. As a result, I corrupted one of my photos and came up with this.

I'm so jealous!!!! THIS is definitely is one thing on my bucket list - to see these!!!!

And to see some kind of ancient ruin like the Mayan ruins or Egypt.

Anyways - nice pictures!!! Reminds me of some shirts I had in the 90's....

Gives you an excellent excuse to come see me. Just be sure to come when there's plenty of solar flare activity. It's definitely a show worth seeing. :nod:
