So did you change your name right after the wedding? Like prior to the honeymoon? Or did you wait until you got back? I'm afraid that if I have my name changed before the honeymoon that I will have issues with my reservation. If I change my name on my Drivers license, I will still HAVE my old one, but will it still be valid? I'm so confused...should I wait till I get back from the honeymoon?

you need your official marriage license to get your name changed, and you usually don't get that until the day of the wedding...b/c the priest has to sign it. I waited til I got back from the honeymoon...think it was like a month or 2 after that I finally changed it...lol took me awhile.

I didnt get my name changed till almost a year after getting married... I was being lazy about it. And then my sister talked me into finally doing it!
