Matt's answer to me is always that it becomes poison. Better to go along with that line of thought than to think some are okay and some aren't and then get confused.

I wouldn't be taking them. That is why the tell you to discard them properly if they are expired. Have to admit I did take some tylenol once that was expired. Didn't realize they were until after the fact. So I just got rid of them.
