A Garland County teen died early Wednesday morning after leaving a 4th of July party.

It happened around 3:00 a.m. on Albright Road near Central Avenue.

Deputies say some of 19-year-old Michael Crump’s friends were leaving his party, and he went with them to show them the way home. They say he decided to get on top of the car as they were driving down the road.

It appears Crump was thrown off the car in a curve, hit his head, and died a short time later at a local hospital.

The teenage driver could now be facing negligent homicide or manslaughter charges.

Let me tell you, thats not true. There was so many detectives and police at the ER last night investigating what really happened. They sent his body to Autospy.
It all seems to fishy. The boy worked 2 jobs, 7 days a week according to his grandparents who had guardanship over him. The boy had blue jeans on that had zippers on them and his wallet, his car keys, and cell phone are all missing. His truck is missing. And the people he was supposdely with, were gone by the time EMS got to the scene. I had never in my entire life seen so much blood when he came in that was on the ambulance cot. When I left this morning, the sherriffs office had 2 boys that caught and were interviewing them. I just hope they really find out what happened. The grandparents believe that he was murdered

Please keep us updated, If he was attacked, I hope the kids responsible for it, have to learn their lesson the hard way.

That sucks. It is altogether possible that what they reported really did happen, and that the kids he was with just freaked out because they thought they would get in alot of trouble and tried to make it look like an attack. Stranger things have happened... especially nowadays.
I have to commend you though, I don't know how you can deal with a job like that, seeing death all the time. I don't think I could handle it.
So, how is Hot Springs these days? I haven't been there in years. The last time I was there I camped for one night at Gulpha Gorge and did some hiking. I love that area.
