Arkansas Nurse Arrested On Child Porn Charges

Federal authorities have arrested a Little Rock nurse on child pornography charges.

Timothy Alan Courtney, 31, is charged with receipt and distribution of child pornography. According to court documents, Courtney maintained a fileserver on his computer that allowed others to trade child pornography images with him.

Jane Duke, Acting U.S. Attorney for Arkansas' eastern district, said the case is especially troubling since Courtney is currently working as a pediatric nurse in Little Rock. Courtney previously worked as a pediatric nurse in Rochester, New York.

Courtney could face a up to 20 years in prison under federal legislation.

I knew this person and this was a real shock... when I was told, I couldn't believe it. I'm no where near Arkansas, so I've searching the internet for any news stories. Are there any new developments in this case?

I personally havent heard anything but I dont live in Little Rock where it happened, I live about 45 min away.
