AI promises accuracy, speed, and fairness, yet emotion, intuition, and moral nuance define humanity. Should crucial decisions, justice, welfare, and employment, be entrusted to machines that cannot feel? Does reliance on algorithms diminish what it means to be human?

In many areas, yes. We increasingly rely on algorithms and AI for decisions once made by humans, from hiring to finance. Machines offer speed and precision but lack nuance, context, and ethical judgment. Overdependence risks sidelining critical thinking, empathy, and accountability, replacing human discernment with calculated efficiency that can overlook complexity and moral consequences.

I think we are trading human judgement for machine precision. That's because a general idea is humans make mistakes where as machines are less likely to make mistakes. Another reason is human's decision is impacted by emotions where as machine lacks emotions
