Generally speaking, the price of a house greatly depends on location and it’s seize, however, it is still expensive to buy a house or build a house. However, if you are building home from a shipping container, the average price could be just half of your normal house. To create a spacious home, you only need five shipping containers. Depending on the size, shipping containers usually cost between $1800 and $5000. Some shipping containers are even available for as little as $800. You will have to pay an additional price for shipping to your location, though.

Do you think shipping container are affordable housing?

Shipping container homes can be affordable due to low material costs and quick construction. However, expenses for insulation, utilities, and permits can add up. They're ideal for minimalists or off-grid living but may not suit everyone’s comfort or zoning needs.

Technically yes, as long as the land you put it on is cheap, and you can choose a pretty nice design and they are not bad, they are cheaper than prefabricated houses or houses but it all depends on what the land costs you, because if it is not very cheap it would be better for you to directly buy a prefabricated house or maybe a house

You raise an interesting point. While building a house with shipping container is relatively cheap, you still need land to set up your house and land can be expensive in urban areas.
