VHS collectors, CRT fans, and Walkman users frequently tell how the older tech still has a unique charm. Do you see it as preservation or nostalgia? Which retro formats actually offer a better experience today? How sustainable is collecting when original hardware keeps degrading?

I do not have any kind of retro tech except an iPod. I have it because it is still in working condition. I think most people are actually romanticizing about old tech.
