Are remakes ruining classic movies?

Some believe remakes ruin original films, while others enjoy the new elements that make them exciting and fresh. What is your opinion?

Remakes do not necessarily ruin the original films, unless they are poorly made. There are some remakes that actually give more glamor to the original ones, thereby bringing back old memories that people cherished.
