Many big-name directors now release films directly on streaming services. Do you notice differences in pacing or visuals compared to their theatrical work? Which streaming-first films still felt cinematic to you? Does the platform influence creative choices?

Some directors adjust their style for streaming audiences, but many still maintain signature elements. The format might demand faster pacing or broader appeal, yet storytelling choices, visuals, and recurring themes often shine through. Signature style evolves, but doesn’t necessarily disappear.

Actually, most movie directors frequently change signature styles, they are exploring different themes and different stories. I rarely see any director who isn't exploring multiple themes.
