Women constantly snog (french kiss) each other when out. It might be for attention, it might be because the're drunk. You'll never see a man doing that even after 10 pints of absinthe. Don't women find it hot too or are men just bigger homophobes and/or less comfortable with their sexuality? Discuss. :D:thumbup

Probably... We think it threatens our masculinity. Men are taught to be strong and not show emotion. I'm not homophobic. I just find over effeminate men to be annoying. I don't care what they do behind closed doors.

I think it's hot. And believe it or not, I've seen two straight dudes kiss when drunk lol. I think mostly when women (or the women I hang out with) are drunk, we get aroused. Men, from what I've seen, usually either start fights, make a pass at a woman or ten, fall asleep, or keep drinking.

This is why we are always trying to get you drunk. Go figure.

I believe the scientific terms are "beer goggles" and "beer muscles" for men which then leads to "beer limp".

Girls know it's hot when they kiss each other. Guys know people will just think they're gay.

I think all women that do that are bi sexual/curious. The reasoning is a man acknowledges when another man is attractive or handsome...does it mean you want to kiss him? Hell no. Women have the same thought except they want to have part of what they see because they're attracted to each other.

This, too.

" homophobe "....... from what I've read in this thread nobody so far has any idea what that word really means and that is a sad state to be in.

If I was a single guy out with a group of women then I would kiss a guy if it was a turn on for them. I've never done it because as far as I know most women aren't turned on by seeing guys kiss. Although my wife has recently decided she kind of likes it so maybe I'll kiss a guy for her sometime. ;)

I don't know if men are more often homophobic, I think they may be, because masculinity is so strict...it's more socially acceptable around here to be masculine as a woman than feminine as a man, and since we don't yet really have it firmly in our minds that gay men don't have to be any less masculine than straight men, that's how it goes.

I'd probably kiss girls if I had a different life lol...

I know what homophobe means. I just don't think it should have been used in the thread title. It really has nothing to do with being homophobic, more to do with why it's more acceptable for women to do it than men. And maybe even "acceptable" isn't quite the right word there...
