I get the sense more people on earth are massively overpaid or underpaid for their time/productivity than are adequately compensated.

Well, when you compare the level of pay for lawmakers to the level of pay, say, Marines earn, who work way more hours and are in way more danger, I'd say they are grossly overpaid. They always seem to be in "recess" too. WTF is that about?

They could serve just 4 years and get the retirement and benefits unmatched by any other government job for people who work 20 or more. Disgusting.
