It's not just the US, it's all over the fucking globe.
Don't be double secret brainwashed into thinking it's only happening on USA turf.

Personally I think, that whilst my distrust of government is much less, that the Americans general distrust of govt is a healthy one is a good reason why they are a long way off any kind of totalitarian situation.

Has anyone seen that film, V for Vendetta? It's set in Britain and highlights one of the possible futures of the country. The people are VERY trusting of the govt, and the majority accept pretty much everything the govt does to ensure their safety. It's this that has made Britain the most surveilled (sp?) country in the world

It's this distrust of their govt that ensures America's freedom.

I mentioned in one of the threads that USA has been brainwashed by the Constitution to distrust government control. It is actually a two pronged brainwash. Watch this video pls.
Okay, kelvin, I wasted 11 minutes that I'll never get back to watch that video. Did you watch it?? I think you went to Youtube, searched 'brainwash' or some such word, and grabbed the first vid you found that looked right. There wasn't a word about the constitution in the vid. It rambled all over the place talking about how we couldn't and shouldn't trust government. For crying out loud, I wouldn't trust a government to mow my lawn after that video. :24:

I'm still waiting for your response to my first post here. Please do me the courtesy to check my link as I did yours.

I got the video from another forum actually. I did checkout the link when u first posted it. Thats too much to read. With due respects the constitution is a sensitive topic for an alien to discuss as u can see the 4-letter words :24:

You could probably read the text in less time than it takes to watch that video. My printed copy is pocket sized and only 32 pages. It's not a persuasive document, it a rule book. Nothing sensitive in it.

Don't let your prejudice get in your way.
