I recently borrowed the first season of Mad Men on DVD and fell in love with it right away - beautifully filmed, well acted and convincingly scripted. Last night I borrowed season 2 and was completely appalled - it's turned very cheesy and predictable, the scripting has gotten much worse and the whole thing is now really schmaltzy... anyone else find that or am I being overly critical?
