lets start with a mid week rush,
because the Joe's soft spot for corri is making me blush.
ever since you took away the mid week plot,
wednesdays nights make me rot.
i do have emerdale, just 30 mins of pleasure,
but when corri was on wednedays,i was rich with treasure.
football dose irratate,
my rage did accumilate.
no way should this have been given priority,
i am critaziseing ITV authority.
and now a turn around,
we want corri on wednedays, the love i have found.
eddie windass and les battserby i still miss,
corri get them back please, and you i will kiss.
keep storys flowing, dont listen to the stella press,
the Joe loves cindy and will listen to nothing less.

Sadie may very well watch Corrie, but if my auntie living in Canada taught me anything, it's that Corrie is like 2 months behind there. It's probably like that in other countries too. I used to watch it, but stopped for some reason, I still found time for the railway crash story last year though, that was good TV.

The reason it was moved was because of the contractual obligation TV broadcasters have with UEFA deemed that ITV HAD to show the football match on a Wednesday, otherwise it would have been a breach of contract, which is illegal. I have to say I hate ITV's football coverage, it just comes off as low rent compared to Sky Sports.

so what happens when they start showing corri on a wednesday and there is a football match ? who will give way to who ? i hope itv have thought this through ?

No they won't have to move Corrie because ITV now will always show their one Champions League game on a Tuesday night as opposed to it being Wednesday in recent years, so Corrie will always be on a Wednesday.
