Anyone have this issue with Google?

For the last couple of weeks, when I use Google.com.au, about half the time when I click on a link it brings us as a search result, the link brings me back to Google.com.au (and then when I try another one, they all do it). Then, the links will randomly go to completely unrelated pages. Typing addresses manually into the address bar produces the same result. I have to close Firefox and reopen it for it to work again, and sometimes it still does it.

Anyone? Bueller?

some people have been saying that google has been messing around with their programs and stuff, that could be it. when I have problems with google, i just use another search engine.
