I’ll look again to see which ones you missed. I’m at work so it may be this afternoon at least. I actually got this quiz at work as part of our July 4th activities. Out of 200 people in my company, only 1 person got them all right. I did get the answers from HR, but I also did research the ones I missed….just to make sure. I missed the year the 4th was a holiday. I put the year it was created, not made a “legal” holiday. I also missed the most popular coin in circulation…I put penny…which was a total guess as when I would search the internet all I found were ads to purchase QUARTERS….LoL!!

I thought this quiz was a lot of fun, and made me learn quite a bit…or remember…LoL!! Its been quite awhile since history class! If anyone else is curious what ones they missed just let me know and I’ll look it up.

Well I'm looking at my answers and your answers CB. I cant verify exactly when congress declared the fourth a holiday. But answer 20 you marked me incorrect. you said JFK gave his salary to charity. He wasnt the first, andrew jackson was the first and then Herbert Hoover gave his to charity. That is verifyed in the Hoover public library.
(repeats over in his mind "I'm not a sore loser. I'm not a sore loser").

wAAH! :D

Here's a couple links to show when congress declared the 4th a national holiday....

http://www3.kumc.edu/diversity/national/indepday.html

http://gurukul.american.edu/heintze/federal.htm

As far as the charity thing...you are correct on that one. I did find that they did give their salary to charity as well. I do have to mark that one right....

So I must name you having only 1 incorrect answer...

THEREFORE OUR CO-WINNER!!!

I would have split the tokens between the both of you...but since I already gave Art his tokens....500 tokens coming your way!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Care Bear I want to say I'm sorry. I was feeling a little self important when I said "I dont really care about the Tokens". Not that this really matters at all. Just want to apolgise for acting a little immature.
