Another Day

Whats the point
I ask myself
Waking a new day
All the same
Strive through
another day gone
same as before

Each day hope is bright
brought down burning
by the evening light
nothing new
nothing changed

Life with no purpose
lived without cause
Weakness to cure it
Seeking a new way
hoping for an ending
that has not come today.

this is wierd, silent, cuz whenevr i read ur poetry im amazed at how great they r, but then im kinda discouraged cuz urs seem so much better and more meaningful than mine...idk...its wierd. :confused

You said you have a daughter; I do too. My Mom says to me, isn't your life worth living for her? I hate that question only because if I don't like me, how can I truly be happy? Of course I love my daughter more than anyone in the world and I'm very proud of her and all her accomplishments. But she's not me and I know I have to be strong for her and not let her see my weaknesses. But it's hard, very hard. (I know by saying that, I'm putting myself out in the open in a very personal situation, but it's me and I can't not be me. Unfortunately.)

I wonder how you deal with your daughter wondering about your pain and how she helps you get by, if I may ask?

Yes Charmer, My daughter is my world, is my life,

Unfortunatly, my relationship with my daughter is still on very fragile ground right now, and she holds alot of anger towards me, For problems that are out of her and my control.

My daughter does not know my pain, It is the most hidden part of my life, I put words here, But no one truly knows.
