Anime I like are...

Elfen Lied: Great anime, IMO. Has an amazing story that can only be fully understood if you watch the whole thing. It's about a girl named Lucy, who's apart of a mutant race, known as diclonius. She escapes the factory she was confined in, killing people on her way out. The next day, she is found at a beach, in a different personality, by 2 teenagers named Kouta and Yuka, and they take her in. Things get interesting from this point onwards.

It Has a load of violence and nudity in it, so I can't really recommend it to children or people who don't like that stuff. If you're old enough and can stand very graphic violence and nudity, then this is for you. This anime started when the manga was still in the making. It followed the manga until the end, where it had its own ending.


The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: This one is a pretty funny one. Its about a guy named Kyon who just entered high school, and meets a strange girl named Haruhi, who seems to be interested in aliens, espers and time travelers. They soon form a club named the SOS Brigade. And from then on, Things start to get weirder for Kyon's life.

Like Elfen Lied, its not suitable for kids. But unlike Elfen Lied, it's not heavily graphic. It has sexual references at times. And one episode is quite violent.
Anyways, A second season has been announced, so I've got something to look forward too .

I've viewed some Anime shows in the past ages ago. I'm thinking about getting into it.

I've heard a lot of good stuff about Elfen Lied since nearly the whole of AASP is hooked on it. ;P

I used to like Dragon Ball Z. Never liked GT though. Until after watching anime like Elfen Lied, i realised how dull and boring, the concept of Dragon Ball Z was (People with super powers or something, and find a threat that takes about several episodes to defeat). Plus i kinda thought the idea of having people revived from the dead with dragon balls was lame.

Full Metal Alchemist, Trigun, Saint Seiya, Cowboy Bebop and Bleach are all very entertaining. Although I enjoyed Fist of the Northstar, it wasnt nearly as good as the manga.

Well, Higurashi, is now one of my favourite anime. I'd recommend it to anyone except children. It's got themes that may scare children, and it gets bloody at times.
