The antimatter explosion, totally unrealistic :p 1 gram of matter and 1 of antimatter would produce an explosion of approx. 40 Kilotonnes (2x the yield of the nuclear bomb dropped on Nagasaki) and there looked like at least 10 grams in that container, so instead of spectacular world-ending explosions, we got fireworks :(

Well to be fair, the entire film was a bit unrealistic.

I much preferred the book . . . i was fairly disappointed with the film all in all. They changed the story too much. sigh

i found the book better than the first movie as well, but i think that usually happens when you read the book first. ...but was this second movie better? Other than the unrealistic antimatter?

I couldn't even finish the Da Vinci Code movie, so I definitely won't be seeing this one.

and it takes alot of power and magnetic fields and stuff like that to keep it from blowing up. I mean, you have antimatter, and you have it stored in a container... which is made of... matter....:p

I haven't read or seen A&D yet, but I did read & see DC. I loved the book and I thought the movie was pretty good.

I agree that the movie is never as good as the book. Pretty much across the board.

Read the book first it's brilliant, films will never be as good as books.
And read the book as it is, don't buy into all the hype, just take it as a story well told and you will enjoy it.

When I was a little shrimp in Christian school and they were maligning Mary, I felt in my gut they were wrong. Even tho DC is 'fiction' it rings true to me. The hairs on my arms stood up quite a lot while reading DC.

Plus the way The Church fussed over it.... Gotta love it. Question Dogma? How dare you question Dogma!

You will believe what we tell you to believe!

Went and saw it today. I rather enjoyed it.

I will say it deviated from the book A LOT, but I think it was very well adapted for the big screen. And I kinda liked that it wasn't exact because then I wasn't entirely sure what I anticipated was what would actually happen.

Meh. I've seen far worse- I watched Mall Cop a couple days ago, so in comparison Tom Hanks rocked! haha

It was good for entertainment, but there were a couple of scenes that were really bad, now that I think about it.
