This is another baby story, but luckily it turned out just fine. I went to the Mini-mart on base to rent some movies today. As I was on my way out to the parking lot I see a guy talking to someone in the Security Department. It looked like they were just having a casual conversation so I didn't give it a second thought. Then I see a car come zooming in the parking lot and parked in two spots. My first reaction, because that is what a lot of the Spanish around here seem to do... I swear these people have no idea what the white lines are for, was "look at this idiot. I ought to leave a 'learn how to park, asshat' note on their windshield. Then this woman gets out and she is all upset about something. Long story short, she had left her baby, in its carrier, sitting in the parking lot  . The guy that was talking to the security dude had seen the baby and was watching it to make sure nothing bad happened until the absent minded parent returned for it. That lady was so upset though, and I couldn't even imagine what must have been going through her mind once she realized the baby wasn't in the car. Luckily that guy had the presence of mind enough to keep an eye on the baby and make sure it didn't get run over.
I bet that lady is going to be super watchful of that baby from now on.

Omg, I know there has been some times where there is alot on my mind and if the child doesnt make any noise you ALMOST forget they are even back there. Luckily I havent ever done that.

I bet that lady is extremely upset. JOe left austin at home once by him self and when I got home, austin was in the neighbors back yard talking to them. I was crying so bad and freaking out. Joe never heard the end of it. He was suppose to take him to his work while I was going to a doc appt. Anyways, Lets just say, I should of killed joe that day! (btw, austin was 3 at the time)

It reminded me of the time my parents left my brother and me in Baton Rouge when we were kids. I think they got almost halfway back to Mississippi before they ever realized we weren't in the car. Haha! Luckily we were at a church and there were lots of other people still around.
