An attempt at a sunset...

I went out just a little too late to catch a good picture of the sunset the other night and the picture I got I was a little dissatisfied with..It's too darn dark... But the colors I did catch were nice. I was surprised that I caught any color at all...

Just a 3 year old digital Samsung D53. It was just I made it outside too late. If I had been a half an hour earlier I would have had some great pictures!

It is a shame when it's just a tad too late or you can't get the shot you want. There was a brilliant low moon the other day but it was very late and I was in the wrong place at the right time

Do try again though- I love a good sunset.

I go out there every evening and this time I was replacing batteries while it was forming out there. There was perfect cloud formation and everything. I was so upset that I missed it! Next time...

I know what you mean about missed opportunities. I always seem to see good photo oportunities when I'm driving and it's not practical to stop. I still like the picture you got. It's kind of a subtle version of a sunset. :thumbup

Yeah I missed a rainbow the other day when it wasn't even raining. That was a shocker! I'm not in the best spot for a good sunset picture but I walk to where I can try to catch a descent one. Thanks zirc! I appreciate that you like it.
