Am I Being Ungrateful?

well i just got off the phone with them (1800flowers) and told them how we werent happy with the arrangement, werent happy with how they werent arranged and delivered by 1800flowers and how compared to the website, it wasnt worth $90

what am i getting!?

THE.SAME.SAME.DAMN.ARRANGEMENT!! plust a $20 savings card. wait, what?! i call and complain about not being happy with the arrangement i got and how its not worth the money paid and you're gonna send me the exact same arrangement!?!? WTF!? if we arent happy with it the 1st time, what makes you think we'll be happy with it the 2nd time!?

i tried telling the rep no that we werent happy with it, but she was persistent so i got tired of dealing with it and said whatever. so i'll get more flowers tomorrow. the same ugly arrangement. maybe i'll call the florist?

i called the local florist instead. told her how we werent happy with them, how they werent worth what we paid. told her how when hubby called, he didnt have a specific bouquet in mind, just told the rep what i liked and it was the rep who picked what i got and it wasnt what we expected. she understood completely. said she'll replace the 2nd arrangement with a roses and tulips mix that is around the same price we paid for the 1st one! they'll be delivered tomorrow!!

i get my tulips!! :D

problems like that is why i rather use local businesses than commercial ones. more personal and the customer service is more appreciated and understanding
 
I don't think your being ungrateful at all! The florest was specifically asked...no roses..
I think you should make a complaint about the service you recieved from this company..
I hope in the future your husband spoils you,you deserve it :) xoxo
 
I did proflowers.com one time for my gf at the time. They delivered them in a box and shipped ups. they were ugly, destroyed and almost dead. I emailed them and told them and they sent new ones and they were nicer.

wait I thought you said you dont like roses and specifically asked for no roses and now you are having them send them anyway? I think they are totally missing the whole point again
i dont, but its whats closest to the price that was paid. i'll still get what i want/like, but i'll have roses in the mix. even though i dont like them, it'll be what we paid for and im fine with that.

i mean, ive seen what $75 worth of tulips look like and its a huge bouquet!! i can only imagine what a $90 bouquet would look like!! but throw in a few roses in teh mix (cause they're more expensive) and voila! problem solved
