I wasn't a fan of the original... The plus side is this is direct to DVD...

First off, those of you who have never watched the original all the way through need to do so, IJS Absolutely my favorite Christmas movie...I watch it at least twice on Christmas every year.

Also...there was already a sequel and it bombed. I never watched it all the way through, though. I'll watch this one just to see, but I know it won't compare to the original.

Is it terrible I've never watched A Christmas Story? I'm just not interested in seeing it, I have lots of Christmas movies and specials I watch every year and that's not one of them. So I really don't care if they're making a sequel to it.

I was lucky enough to be in the stage version of A Christmas Story. I played the Narrator....I never had so many lines in my life!!
