Ok folks, serious question here. First, I've always maintained that Offtopicz will never have ads, since the purpose of the forums was not to make money.

Veronica & I were tossing around the idea of giving away free t-shirts and other things - also allowing people to buy things with tokenz.

This is not our decision, it is the decision of our members. If you would like to have free givaways and things to buy with your tokenz, there will have to be a way to pay for it. We do not want donations, nor will we accept them. This is something we both love, and want to do whats in the best interest of the forum.

If you support the addition of non-annoying ads on the forums, then vote yes. Otherwise vote no. I will not do this without overwhelming support from our community. Please be honest. If you don't want ads, vote and say so. Say why. Feedback please.

100% yes - as long as we don't get to the point where the admins are making threads asking us to click on them to generate revenue.

Nothing annoys me more than that... it's most prevalent on civicland.com.

But that's because some of them are whiney peeps.
