I'm rather conflicted on a lot of what Alex Jones has to say, but I have to admit that he's been at the forefront of the fight against the new TSA policies with full body scans and invasive pat downs. His Inforwars.com contains a lot of valuable information about what's really going on in our country, and even Ron Paul is a semi-regular guest on his radio show.

However, he can come across as a completely crazy conspiracy theorist at times as well. So, what are all of you thoughts on him? Or have you even heard of him before.

I personally find the guy quite objectionable. But conspiracy nut or not, I think people like Jones are vital to a healthily varied media.

He is a pretty good source of info, I guess I disagree a lot on his conclusions, much like the corbettreport.com, but the information is very useful and valuable.

Haven't heard of him.

Generally speaking...tolerating fringe characters comes with the territory of exploring any subject completely. So despite how any of us feel about people like Glenn Beck to Rev Wright, we have to suck it up.

As for national security and TSA. It's overkill. But to make a point about it at the inconvenience of other travelers is annoying as hell.

I think Alex needs to take a few chill pills. The message gets lost in his over-the-top screaming fits.

I like the fact that he will go to the Bilderberg meetings w/a bullhorn and call out all the people going into the venue. But he's too emotional for my taste.

I prefer Mike Rivero's site: http://www.whatreallyhappened.com

He's a lot more calm & rational and his daily headline section more varied. But make sure you have a bottle of aspirin & tums w/you ;) Plus make sure your critical thinking skills are engaged. Be warned tho ;) Just cuz you think it's bs doesn't mean it is.:D

This is the problem I have with him. He's far too aggressive and loud. Shame, he does have interesting views and reports on stuff well outside the MSM. If he toned it down a notch...

ain't going to happen. that's the way he is. very arrogant and cold toward strangers -- a lousy politician or celebrity. just a big mouthed rich kid with a deep case of righteous indignation, which in and of itself, is a good thing. we need more rich kids to get pissed off at the lies their parents are telling about the way things work in the world and who is actually pulling the strings and pushing the buttons.

he's a loose cannon and a lot of people love him for it. also bear in mind that he's very young. i think he might still even be under 30. he was when i met him. as he matures, i think we'll see a lot better focus and less irresponsible reporting.

poking around on mike rivero's site, i noticed him advertising the same products this guy pushes on his show. i don't know the details, but alex jones was broadcasting from the RBN studios in round rock (just north of austin - dell country) along with another youngster from the east coast named jack blood. jones is austin native and his family is very well off from scrap metal and possibly oil field wildcatting. i forget. i met his father too. a very nice man, totally unlike his son.

there was an ugly falling out in about 2005. i have no idea what went down because i was having some serious problems of my own at the time with malware attacks from the web.

john is definitely more down to earth than either of the other two and doesn't get quite so far out there in weaving his conspiracy theories as blood or jones.

John's "National Intel Report" is hard hitting and to the point with information you won't find in the mainstream media. If you believe the Constitution is the law of the land, but sense that something is seriously wrong in our country, then listen to the "National Intel Report" for the best guests, news and information!

Honestly, it's been awhile since I've stopped by InfoWars. But that they share the same advertisers makes sense.

I know that Mike's advertisers don't give a flip what he posts and he extends the same courtesy to those who advertise on his site. I imagine Alex's policy is the same?

That way you don't have advertisers trying to control content. Much more freeing than the MSM.

the berkey water filter ad made me think of john stadtmiller, not alex jones. he's much more mature with a far more laid back, academic approach than alex. he's also an excellent interviewer.

another good broadcaster is jack mclamb, a former phoenix cop who has a radio show and publishes a newsletter called 'aid and abet' the site is something like police-and-military-against-the-new-world-order.net

i've been posting some stuff here by ken stevenson aka vermin supreme. he's the hippie pee party presidential candidate. very funny guy and posts some very right on stuff at facebook. after i finish replying to you, i'll be posting a video called taboo by national geographic about the only free heroin shooting clinic in north america that he posted there earlier today.
