Air fryers

Has anyone tried any of the new air fryers? I think Phillips have been pushing there's a lot lately.

From what I understand it is basically a mini oven. Are they worth it? They seem like a good idea but why should I splurge $300 on something my oven does?

I'm not sure.

Thats alot of money for a small forced air oven...I would have to use it pretty regularly to get my money out of it..I expect the size hampers it though for alot of uses anyway.

I hadnt either..but looked them up its essentially just a small forced air mini oven with a basket

I haven't used them yet. Some say it is healthy option, some say it is not. But anyways, I am interested in using it.
