Kewl, my brother uses Linux on his laptop. I think it's Ubuntu as well, but I'm not too sure. I'm not a huge fan of it though.

I'll be running a linux box shortly once i get my other machine back up and running so I'll be tossing around the idea of running a KDE or gNome style linux

bwahahahaha haus... ahh man...

rusteh - i was recommended to try the ubuntu distribution of linux from a programming chatroom, and i had previously downloaded the 5.xx version. i just never burned the iso... heh, but this time i did it right ( and went with 6.xx since it was the latest release ) and played with it wednesday morning ) it was interesting indeed. i would recommend it as well, as it lends itself "end-user" usablity, if you know what i mean

Me Want Linux!
I recently spent 500 simoleans on upgrades for my COMPAQ presario 6000
And it can run 2 copys of half life 2 and still have enough memory for a game of solitair while they load.

if linux is a fad then why has it been out for so long, and DOESN'T advertise a product to try and get idiots over to their side..they get true computer people over to linux who actually try the product, not by hiring acters to lie about it.
