I've realized that new Bond film Casino Royale is completely fucked up. The movie is supposed to be a prequel, even set before the first film, Dr. No, and explains how Bond became what he is today. Yet there are MANY flaws in this.
-The technology in that film doesn't match the supposed time period.
-The cars are way too new to be from that time period.
-They could have found a look-a-like of the old M, but instead opted to use the current one, taking away the effect of it being a prequel. In the movie Goldeneye, the old M was replaced with Judi Dench, and 007 even says the line, "The old M kept a bottle of Champagne in the fridge".
-The biggest thing that proves they fucked up is the usage of 9/11. M mentions 9/11 and the effects it had on terrorism. If this movie is set BEFORE Dr. No, this time period would be years, no, decades before 9/11.
But all in all, it's still a great action-packed ride. And definately one of the best out of the series.
