what did she do?
I saw the performance last night because my daughter was watching the show. It was very hard to watch. When Miley was on Disney, I thought she was so cute and funny. My daughter was a fan and we would watch her show. We even went to one of her concerts. But I don't know what happened to her. She is trying way too hard to shed her squeaky clean Disney image. Very sad to watch.

a coworker and I were talking about this, i didnt see it as I dont watch MTV and would definitely not allow my girls to see that!
It is simply shameful how this has become par for the course in order to be "Famous". I honestly dont know whether to be mad at society for popularizing this shit, be mad at the TV networks for allowing this, or to be pissed at her shitstain of a father for not beating her ass backstage after this.
Sure, one could say Lady Gaga's performance was just as racy but honestly it wasnt as blatanlty whore-riffic as this little shit's time on stage.

And because at some point, every female singer with even the slightest rock ‘n’ roll aspirations must pay her dues by covering Joan Jett‘s rock legacy, Cyrus saw fit to tackle not one, not two, but three Jett classics as part of a cred-building riot-grrrl medley during her 2010 tour.
Hear yourself groan as Cyrus’ detached monotone transfers ‘I Love Rock ‘N Roll’ to a catatonic state! Feel yourself wretch as she labors her way through the Runaways’ signature song ‘Cherry Bomb’ like she was auditioning for a role on ‘Glee’! And try not to flee in terror as she screeches through Jett’s fearsome ‘Bad Reputation’ – mercifully for just 60 teeth-gnashing seconds before bringing the entire ordeal to an end.
This is what Terrible Classic Rock Covers are truly made of. Evidently, Cyrus was just warming up her onstage shock tactics here, on her way to the provocative debacle at the VMAs, where at least she had the decency of butchering one of her own pop songs, as well as one by Robin Thicke, instead of three rock ‘n’ roll classics.
