This is a unique poem for me, very diffrent from my normalcy of writing. But very profound and meaninful to me in its own right.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Warrior lives
In cool, dark beauty
Living among
Shade and Sweet water
Until which he
Must go into battle.

The forest path
Beneath his racing heart
Becomes a path of stars
His flesh of their flesh
And they of his.

They will fight together
Side by side, connected
Only by thought,
They prepare
Like an excited child.

In this battle
A warrior may die
During death
It is told unto him
By those of spirit,
Not of body

Let me wash you clean of sights
You should never have had to see
Of deeds you should never have had to do
I am the sword, the spear, the arrow
You are the flower, the tree, the vine
Never will I or anyone
Force you to beother
Than that which you are

Words of comfort
Are drowned
By silent screams

A warrior's death
So stark and so final
The instant his spirit
Will flee his body
They go where they will
After death.

The rest of us are bound
Soul and flesh to the time
And world in which we exist
But the Warrior now
Has crossed his bridge
Of destiny
And now our comfort
Is to know
He will find the peace
In life he so craved.

That's very beautiful.

It can be surprising to step out of what you usually do, and to discover that it's just as wonderful.

I really like that Silent. I like the style in which you wrote it.
