We took Dominic to the beach for the first time. He did not like the feel of the shells on his feet and kept doing this weird, high step to try to keep his feet away from them. Then we took down to the water and when the first "wave" (really just a ripple by the time it got to us) hit him, he started screaming. Needless to say, we didn't spend much time near the water, which was cold anyway. But he loved playing in the sand.
