All this "Did god make us, did we evolve?" stuff. How about another option - Something happened that we haven't yet worked out? Its just as likely as the other two options.

Actually Pete there are more than you can count on 2 hands.

These are the main First World explanations
1 Evolution - life began on Earth probably around thermal springs & the spread around the world like a Virus.
2 Creation - God created Heaven, Earth & Man & saw that it was good.
3 Panspermia - The Earth was seeded from space by a meteor carrying DNA, RNA & several other building blocks, maybe even bacteria.

Now we can get freaky because there are hundreds of other explanations offered by many different indiginous peoples. Inuit, Aborigines, American Indians, Inca, Aztec, Roman, Greek... etc

Just as likely? Maybe the God thing its as likely as... But evolution puts forward a pretty strong case.

I might sound like a hypocrite, but choosing the one you THINK is true, is like choosing to believe or not to believe in gravity.

But really, this is a common mistake people make all the time. Evolution is simply how things change in a biological aspect over time. At no point does it even touch how things "got here", if there is such a things as a "beginning".

Agreed and mankind is having an impact on evolution of other species which is plain for all to see.
