i was at brandon marsh last week and i spotted this bird......it was under cover,deep in the shade and just sat there.......i didn't think i had time to make adjustments so had to get what i could

thats cute, great pictures! I have blue jays and cardinals that roost in this old tree in my yard, and i have pileated woodpeckers that like my back palm tree. yesterday i took down this steel pole that has a bird house on top of it and found a nest with some cardinal chicks inside it, so i had to put the pole back in place, luckily it just screws in!

I love swallows Ian so thanks for posting them. Now try and get one while in flight. I dare you. I've been trying for a few years but the buggers are like missiles and make it very hard.

That is funny...

Swallows! It reminds me of when I went to school in San Juan Capistrano. I was right down from the Mission. I miss the OC.
