Seen a few movies in the past week, and only one sucked.
Christmas Day:
Aliens VS. Predator: Requiem
National Treasure: Book Of Secrets
December 23rd:
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street
Weekend before exams:
I Am Legend
I've already given my thoughts on I Am Legend and Sweeney Todd, so no reason to do that twice.
Anybody hesitant about seeing AVP-R or National Treasure 2, don't. Go see them both! Very good movies. But AVP was actually a bit better than AVP-R. AVP-R is cool though, and it's a direct sequel to AVP. Complete with Alien/Predator hybrids! The only thing I'll ruin is the one scene that pissed me off! The main girl gets down to her see-through bra and very small, tight pink panties, and just as she's about to go swimming(It's implied that she's going to get naked), her ex-boyfriend barges in, and just as we think we'll see some fighting and a half-naked soaking wet girl, one of the aliens dives into the pool and attacks somebody! That just bugged me! Ever had a boner that was pretty much wasted on nothing? Exactly my problem!
National Treasure was great as well. The action scenes were good, and the comedy was a bit better than the first. National Treasure 2 also kept ties with the first movie, and was even better than the first!
