It's a Woody bird!

My friend has a male (same coloring as your second picture) and his girlfriend has one of each. They made babies. Or eggs, rather.

Very pretty birds, social too.

That second shot reminded me of my cockie " Spook " I had her for about 10 years. She was great. Never did talk but was smart as a whip and loved sitting on my finger, head & shoulder. When we moved from Prince George, B.C. to Calgary, Alberta she sat on my shoulder all the way there. That's a drive of about 500 miles.
