She looks great. Australopithicenes may be one of the lines that we are descended from. Maybe this complete skeleton can answer that question.

Uh oh. More solid proof that dispels the whole bible story. Evolution is not something they like to talk about, yet every new technological advance unearths new evidence that we evolved, not just appeared here.

Yeah tachnology is catching up to religion.
Pretty soon the only thing to believe in will be facts!
Religion gives hope, and without it... Chaos!

elluko, I know this will sound demeaning - please don't take it that way - but you are still young & have much to learn. Look around the world, past & present, & show me where the hope is that comes from religion, because, frankly, I see far more chaos stemming from religion than hope. (Unless of course you were being sarcastic - hard to see in print - in that case I am sorry.)

Religion gives hope where there is despair because there is no hope in humanity so the weight of taking care of things as well as the blame for things not taken care of can be easily transferred to some deity instead of onto ourselves. Hope is better found in education, agricultural developments, medicines, clothing and other needs.

I would take a handful of facts over a truckload of force-fed dogma any day.

allan - i think elluko was referring to hope in terms of what happens after death. and all that stuff. now, i could be wrong. so, if the facts were the only thing to rely on,'you will die", is the only thing to think about. then the chaos would stem from the "what will happen to me after i die?" question.

When I first started reading this it sounded like something Yoda was saying...

Religion is nothing more than a giant cult. Each religion believes them to be the only religion that is the correct one, but what I don't get is why they don't get why there are so many of them? I mean, if there was truly only one correct religion, then that would be it. I believe it is getting tougher for each Religion to explain themselves when new discoveries are made, however they all think they are propaganda. Humans are silly creatures, grabbing onto anything that they think will lead them to living forever. There is one thing that is certain, we all will cease to exist one day, so live it up my friends!
