I need help figuring out what to get grandparents that will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Isnt the 50th yr the Golden year? Anyone have any really good ideas on something I can get or make? I dont want to get just flowers or a gift certificate. I could get something like that to go along with something but I want to do something special for them.

damn 50 years is a long time. that is so awesome that they been together that long. ive been to my dads aunt and uncles 50 year wedding aniversary thing and that was like 11-12 years ago.

Maybe get them an engraved gold picture frame with their family name on it or something... I dunno

I am a gift buying fool .. My relatives never know what to expect when they get a box from me lol. I like to keep them guessing haha.

I'll tell you this though, most old people I know like to sit and talk about "back then" .. so those "how things were back then" gifts .. I've given several of those out over the years .. keeps them occupied for hours LOL.
