This is the worst-written show on TV period. The plot lines and acting are a mix of bad Soap Opera and Saturday morning teen TV.

Jack Bauer was introduced to the world less than 2 months after the September 11th attacks. Osama has been hiding in caves and Al Qaeda hasn't pulled off a large-scale attack since. Coincidence? I doubt it.

I thought that too but apparently they're not consecutive days.

I loved the first season (though I started watching from the 5th of 6th episode so I had no idea what was going on, I thought I was watching some cutting edge film when I first tuned in) and the 2nd was ok, but afterwards I lost interest. Much like with Lost, I missed a couple episodes and could never recover.
