2 hours IN shoveling - SNOW ANGEL CAME

My driveway is BIG....2 cars...it could be worse I guess. I ENJOY shoveling...but 12-14 inches is a little MUCH. AND there were BOULDERS at the end of my driveway that I have never seen before about 3 feet high....I started at the top....2 hours in....I had my car shoveled out and 1/2 of the other side of the driveway....HERE COMES A GUY with a plow (yes, I know that plows are out in SNOW looking to make money...logical)....BUT....I went to the end of the driveway and told him...THANK you....BUT, I CAN DO THIS....and I really don't have any money in my wallet...HE SAID....he WANTED to help it was NO PROBLEM...and he asked me to MOVE OUT OF THE WAY....

Like I said...I am NOT the picture of BEAUTY when I am out there shoveling...so although I will say I think I am SEXY most of the time...or at least I used to be when younger and I sometimes like to think I STILL AM.

I AM ABSOLUTELY NOT SEXY AT ALL when shoveling...I am not one of those natural beauties...I need makeup and work on the hair...I did not shower, OR do makeup today...I had my bathrobe under my coat...mismatched gloves....hair all over the place...with HOOD on....(who knows maybe SEXY to some-LOL)....HE took ALL the boulders from the end of my driveway in one CLEAN SWOOP...THEN...he drove into the driveway...and backtraked the rest of the SNOW....

I still had to shovel some...and HIM using the plow kind of made it harder....but...I would have been out there at least another 2 hours! I was so excited I had tears in my eyes....I TOLD you in my last post...the last 3 times...I have had snow ANGELS...another gift from GOD for me today....YES, there are still NICE people in the world...and I'm GLAD GOD PUT ONE IN MY PATH (my snow path) TODAY.

I have already talked about that stuff in the relationship forum...only I didn't mention anything about GOD doing it....but for some of the stuff that is going on with my oldest son...I do feel that it is POSSIBLE payback and punishment from GOD for what I did as a young mother and how my son has lived his life so far.

My son is being denied visitation to his 2 year old son right now and he is going thru hell....and I am goiing thru hell worrying about his safety (fearing he will kill himself)...I have been asking GOD WHY...this has to happen...Although he is addicted to drugs...he was a loving father and did the best he could as a boyfriend.

BUT - I was thinking yesterday...I DID THE SAME exact thing when my son was small...I took him away from his "father" figure at the time...and used him as a pawn...Also, although my son has not done anything in particular to his son or his girl....he has done some impecible things in his lifetime...some stuff to my sister who struggles with not seeing her son.....S

This turmoil my son and I are going thru may be GODS way of showing me what "DO UNTO OTHERS as you WOULD HAVE DONE TO YOU"......REALLY MEANS.

I know it looks like negativity, but it's not. It's just, when you're an atheist, and a strong believer of the scientific method, and logic, and reasoning, these types of events make no sense at all and just shows how gullible the human mind is to these sorts of things. It's more we want to save people from religious crap, it's so illogical.

Some people don't need your saving. You're free to believe (or not believe) in whatever you want, as is she. There are things in this world that defy explanation...some of us chose to attribute those to something other than scientific methods. Doesn't mean we're wrong...doesn't mean you're wrong. Just means we have different beliefs. I just think it's really shitty for people to come in here and dump all over the poor girl who was trying to share an inspirational story of a good samaritan...let her have her joy, it's not hurting any of you.

Really??? The man has no home and is begging strangers for money on the street and you were really peeved by the way he thanked you???

I wouldn't have been bothered even if he didn't say anything at all. I gave him some money because he looked like he needed it. But he didn't say thank you. He gave me God's blessing in exchange for a couple bucks. Now that's a bargain. I suppose I should have thanked him.
