Around 1973 or so on one of my excursions one of these was parked in a field off the side of the highway. He had a handmade sign that said " Plane Rides $15.00 ". I pulled over and thought about going for a ride but because I was pressed for time I decided not to. I regret it ever since.
Anywhoo... this guy performed at the airshow on the weekend and it's amazing what he can do with a stock Stearman. He puts on a very low level display and it brings back many childhood memories watching these guys barnstorm at local airshows.
