Ironically enough, I'm taking my 72 year old neighbor out with a double barrel so she can get use to it and understand what she is supposed to do and NOT supposed to do. And to think that the local sheriff told her she should get a .38 special. That would never happen in NYC or Chicago, and God it's so much safer there LOL

Went to a museum yesterday, was surprised to see a standard-issue Smith and Wesson revolver was part of every bank teller's drawer as recently as the 1950's. Now, even the police in this country don't need to have sidearms.
