There is hope for the world with youth like this. This is relevant to Americans as well because our government pays a private bank - The Federal Reserve Bank (there's nothing "federal" about it) - to print our own money and charge us to loan it back to us. Quite simple really, yet most Americans and Canadians remain clueless as to the problems this causes our economies.

No wonder right wingers say young people are "too stupid to vote". Even children are figuring out how the banksters are screwing all of us. I'm beginning to see a glimmer of hope for humanity:

Muahahaha!

... but in all seriousness ... The whole Federal Reserve system seems to have a rather insidious design ...

The problem with RP is that for all his good points, he is STILL a supporter of the Trickle Down system of lowering taxes on the rich, anti Universal Health Care, anti-living wage, anti-union, anti-regulation, etc. IOW - he is still a shill for the very rich - but for some reason, some working class stiffs still think they would benefit from it.

Eliminating the fed is a great ambition and I'm for it - but until the wealthy are FORCED - yes - FORCED to contribute to the nations infrastructure in proportion to their benefit from it, the working class is still going to get screwed. I truly do not understand why you - a Socialist government pension drawing, universal health coverage enjoying, state government employee does not understand that.

Where is your outrage at over $500,000,000 per year military spending Acc? Why to you libertarians only single out things that would actually benefit society like high speed rail that will save $$$ BILLIONS $$$ in fuel costs?

You just cannot grasp the insanity of your though process can you?

And you will fight for the rights of billionaires to keep more and more of their money, while fighting against Universal Health Care and Living Wages.

How's that paid summer vacation at taxpayer expense working out for ya Acc? I see you are using it to continue justifying voting against your own best interests. Be careful what you wish for - the TEA Party idiots just might deliver and send their Republican ax men after your teaching job and second pension.

Back on topic here. I dunno if the kid is behind that speech or not. Kind seems like it was written for her to read.

Maybe, maybe not. Some kids are politically astute at a young age. Both my kids know a hell of a lot more than I did by the time I was 30. My son (17) is deep into geo-politics of his own interest and accord and has been since at least age 12. He and his buds from Europe and other countries play ongoing geo-political online games that require strong geographical, historical and political knowledge. He's also into his fourth year of German language courses so he has a blast with the German teens participating in the games.

Kids can be pretty amazing.

At twelve I am sceptical. If she did then kudos to her. She is more involed then most. I just don't see that being feasible. I just think she had some help with that speech.
