oh shit! thats less water for us to drink!

Well, technically speaking, water is always contained in the atmosphere, whether it be in the shape of liquid, solid or gas. Water nevers enters or leaves the atmosphere, so we have a set amount of it. Therefore, we can never have "less" or "more" water than we actually have.

Sorry for being a smart ass :D

but I'd say that this lake is caused by global warming. Or some sort of other phenomena. Most likely Global Warming, though. It makes sense, the whole "water relocation" idea that Gore talked about.

Global Warming evaporated a lake in about a month's time??? Why would it only happen to one lake? And how could it happen that fast???

I'm calling BS on the global warming theory :)
