Artificial intelligence has been developing a lot in the recent time. There are so many people who are now using tools related to AI. Having said that, there are so many people who are concerned by how AI might compete with writers in the modern era. So, do you think that AI will take over writers' jobs in the future?

I doubt AI will fully replace writers. It can generate drafts or ideas fast, which I appreciate, but creativity, emotion, and nuance need a human touch. Writers who adapt by using AI as a tool will thrive, while others might struggle to keep up.

I asked AI to generate a fictional story about alien abduction. It generated a story which wasn't that attractive or thrilling. Despite what many people claim, AI won't be replacing writers any sooner. In fact, AI has helped many writers tremendously. However, things might change for writers in the future.

I agree with you. AI can be helpful for brainstorming or structuring stories, but when it comes to emotional depth, suspense, and originality, human writers still lead. It’s a tool, not a replacement. Still, the future might bring unexpected shifts.

I don’t believe so as AI models are trained by humans.

If users are using ai to write content instead of writing their own, it’ll replace them. But not every single writer in the world.

AI will change writing jobs but likely won’t fully replace human writers. AI can help with drafts and ideas, but creativity, emotion, and unique voice come from people. Writers who adapt and collaborate with AI will thrive in the future.

I don't think so. Reading is suppose to make you feel more empathy. How can reading something that is written by AI make you feel more empathy?

If the writers cannot adapt, I think AI will take away their jobs, especially those who write articles. For fiction writers, AI will not harm them.,

To be honest, the influence of AI on writer's job is concerning but I believe that writers can embrace the technology to improve their writing skills because there are so many things that can’t simply be replicated by AI.

No, robots will never be able to do is write up like a person. AI writing tends to be mechanical and formulaic—which is fine for technical writing, but problematic when you need to convey authenticity in order to engage readers

In my own opinion, I believe AI can't fully replace writers, it can only assist in writing. There are ways and tone in which professional writer writes to communicate with readers which is always missing in a writing generated by AI. AI can only provide information but not communicate with readers as writers do.
